Newborn Portraits: Studio vs. Home

Newborn Sessions in my studio or at your home are my FAAAAVORITE 💗

Life with a newborn is surprisingly busy and it’s easy to forget about newborn portraits.

Don’t let half a year go by before you realize that you missed the chance to remember those unique newborn moments.

I offer Newborn Portrait Sessions in my studio or in your home. Which is right for you? Read on to find out.

You want to remember this time.

That tiny little baby doesn’t stay tiny for long.

I recommend we try to take photos within the first month.

Since there’s no real way to know exactly when that sweet bundle of joy will arrive, we’ll use your due date as the session date then adjust after baby is here. I always leave extra space on my calendar for newborn sessions.

Which is best for you: Studio vs. In-home?

How to Choose the Best Spot for Your Session

At my studio: We use a clean, simple white backdrop. Some would say it’s easier to come to my studio since you just show up at your scheduled time and let me take care of the rest. If you feel like getting out of the house would be a nice change, then I invite you to come to the studio.

At your home: The décor and style of your home sets our backdrop. You’ll only need to do minimal tidying up (no need to clean the house for me!). If the idea of packing up the kiddos to travel to my studio sounds daunting, then I would recommend we stay nice and cozy at your home. I bring all my equipment with me and take care of all the details when I arrive.
