One of my favorite parts about being a wedding and portrait photographer is getting to bond with my clients. I love capturing these milestones in their lives and helping them remember these special moments forever. I feel that some of the strongest bonds I create are when I get to document a family through their Baby's First Year. Watching them grow from nervous, soon-to-be parents at their maternity session all the way to glowing, proud Mom and Dad at the One Year session fills my heart with so much joy. Wylder's mom contacted me just over a year ago when she was 8 months pregnant and we scheduled her maternity portraits for just a few days later. When sweet Wylder arrived they invited me over to their home to capture his newborn portraits and I was so excited to visit them again a couple weeks ago while we celebrated Wylder's first birthday!

Now they have a forever collection of beautiful portraits documenting their family during the first year of their handsome little son's life!

I can't believe it's already been a year...
